Welcome to the Faculty of Education!

The Faculty of Education is currently located on three sites namely, Edgewood (Pinetown), Pietermaritzburg and Westville campuses .

Education continues being one of the important faculties of the newly merged University of KwaZulu-Natal. Its importance is based on its being one of the fastest growing faculties not only in terms of students at undergraduate and graduate levels but also in terms of its workforce. Second, it is the largest faculty of Education in the Province of KwaZulu-Natal. Third, the largest number of teachers to meet the demand for teachers are and will continue completing their teacher education from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
